Man, I am not doing very well on this. I get close, but never quite on point. And I own this one. It's a June Brigman drawn issue of either X-men or Power Pack. But Rogue is green, so I could be off mark as far as the title...again. But keep these coming :)
I know perfectly that story because here in Spain it was published together with the The Uncanny X-Men Annual #11. That edition was my first X-Men comic-book ever!!!!
Rojo is correct! Marvel Fanfare #33, indeed drawn by June Brigman as Al spotted. This issue was an unpublished issue in the Questprobe series that was never finished, but was resurrected for Marvel Fanfare.
Gah! So close :) Yep, I own MF #33, but I totally forgot about that. I was even thinking an appearance on Alpha Flight, but the Hulk color was stumping me.
Speaking of Marvel Fanfare, those Charles Vess pics from the other post are gorgeous. He did really nice pin ups and covers. He had a great eye for design as well.
Aw, c'mon. The one time I arrive early enough to guess it and I'm stumped? And it's Rogue, too, I have 90% of Rogue's 80s appearances.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm going to kick myself when the answer is revealed.

Hey AL, glad you enjoyed the Vess portfolio, they were quite lovely.
ReplyDeleteRats, and I've got Marvel Fanfare #33, too, although I don't remember a thing about it...
