The 1980s highlight of these solicitations to me was this amazing cover by Nick Bradshaw who draws so much like Arthur Adams that I thought it had been done by Adams!
And now, onto the solicitations:

ReplyDeleteHey Anonymous, that was a great storyline indeed. Unfortunately a few years before the 1980s. :) But definitely a great Avengers collection to pick up in TPB form.
ReplyDeleteups, sorry. Here in Spain that saga was edited in the 80s. my mistake. Bye.
ReplyDeleteNo worries. Thanks for the comment! :)
ReplyDeleteSorry to disappoint, but...
ReplyDeleteThat cover art is NOT by Arthur Adams.
It is by NICK BRADSHAW, and for a modern comic issue (POINT ONE # 1).
Here's the link to the issue and art:

In all truth, when I first saw it, I also thought that it was by Adams, but it seemed a little rough to be his work and so i looked a little deeper.
It seems Bradshaw, who does a lot of cover work these days, is an Adams devotee, and his style is very reminiscent.
I hope I was of some help.
Hey P, thanks for that clarification...
