I remember seeing the original art for this cover for sale on Herb Trimpes website for years for $1000. I own some original GI Joe art but was never a fan of the crossover. Even though it was a pretty low price for a cover I passed again and again. Fast forward Herb Trimpe dies last year and the piece sells for like $5000 on Heritage Auctions.
