  3. Classic lineups for both teams, fantastic art by George Perez...no idea whether the plot was any good but the pictures sure are top shelf! Shame the story they eventually published wasn't very good, but again with Mr. Perez drawing it how could I resist? He's so dang good. Every hero's face and body is distinct, whereas
most artists in comics just draw the same faces with different hair and coloring and the exact same
    body for every hero.

  4. I read somewhere (maybe an old Wizard?) that Rob Liefeld had purchased these pages and intended to have Danny Miki ink them all (erasing the original pencils in the process). No idea if this actually came to pass...

  5. Hey Matt, you're dead on. Perez' work on this and his Avengers was distinctive and memorable for some many reasons.

Hey Alldaycomics, you are correct. I believe Rob owned several pages, I'll have to dig around and see if there's anything about these pages getting inked.

  6. You should copy this over to your D.C. site as well, it certainly qualifies by 50%! Plus some readers might only read one or the other site if the are Marvel zombies or whatever the D.C. equivalent is.

  8. Thoroughly enjoyed the slideshow, just wondering if the whole story had been pencilled. A great in itself... Warner Brothers & Disney should base a major motion picture from this story. Complete the comic and release it a packaged deal with a Blu Ray or DVD along with a video game and sell the whole thing for $100. Too bad politics will continue to rob the fans of their dream!
