1989 - Anatomy of a cover - The Mighty Thor #405
Here's a cool progression of the cover with a comparison between the preliminary pencils by Ron Frenz and two different ink jobs, the one in the middle by Bob McLeod and the one on the right by Joe Sinnott.
Your blog is cool, but it's a pity that you don't cite your sources, like with the image of this entry: http://ferrandelgado.blogspot.com/2007/04/comparativa-entre-el-preliminar-la.html
Hey Ferran, my apologies. I do try to cite my sources when I can and I'm always happy to update with the appropriate acknowledgements. I've collected so many images from so many different places it isn't easy all the time.
The middle is not the same piece of art as the one on the right. Notice that Thor is completely different in the two pieces. Not to mention it's two different inkers.
Hey Ike, you are indeed correct. The middle one was inked by Bob McLeod and the right one was inked by Joe Sinnott. Both were based off of the pencils by Frenz on the left.
