1982 - Black Widow portfolio by Paul Gulacy

  1. Great Paul Gulacy images - have always been a big fan of his work and especially the "Lethal Ladies" Marvel Preview issue with the Macchio / Gulacy Black Widow tale ( w/ Bogart, Michael Caine lookalikes!) Amazingly acquired this only a few years ago off EBay for next to nothing.

Wish Marvel would get around to reprinting his (and others') Master Of Kung Fu work too!

I was going to say something like that. Sadly, 'MOKF' is in limbo as far as reprints go. Marvel owns Shang Chi, Sax Rohmer's estate owns the supporting cast of characters. Too bad, Gulacy is one of the all-time greats, his work deserves a nice glossy reprint treatment.

  3. I hate to say it but I have never heard of or seen this artist. Now that I have where can I find his work? either in Issue or TPB?

  4. Hey Daniel, I'd recommend his Six From Sirius work (unfortunately, it's out of print)

His run on Master of Kung Fu is legendary.

  6. There is a great Batman tale made by Paul Gulacy, its called " Prey", in my opinion its one of the best Batman stories ever. You might want to check that one out.
