I remember when I first heard Rob was taking over Cap, I was excited. Waid and Garney I didn't want to end, but for some reason I thought Rob would focus more on the militarised SHEILD aspect of Cap and him drawing the Helicarrier was just something I wanted to see. Then I saw this and without even looking at his chest, I was like - 'Where is the 'A'!?' That's when I knew Waid and Garney were going to be sorely missed.
I was TERRIFIED last night when my RSS picked this up, until I realized that it's April 1. Oh my goodness would this be horrible if it were all the time. WHY is Cap's left pectoral muscle visible in this picture? WHY?!?!?
It took me a while to compute how a Rob Liefeld blog got into my feeds. I saw your name, Jason, and thought that perhaps the feeds would somehow automatically follow any of your new blogs... Then I saw it was the old 1980s blog, just renamed, and laughed.
Of course, I always try not to comment on how an April 1st joke is a joke until the day is over. You never know when someone else might come in and think it is for real. I find it funnier to go on as part of the joke for one day.
Brilliant!
