These were Chanukah presents for me and my brother, I got spidey, he got the green goblin, we shared the spider trap. And some lucky guy bought them for a quarter at our garage sale ten years later
I remember these ads well, in the comics and on television! But at a time when I was loving my Mego dolls of Spider-Man, Green Goblin, and loads of other fully-posable characters, I couldn't really see the fun in playing with a statue of Spidey in such a stiff, dull pose. Would've had some fun with that copter, though!
I remember really wanting this one Christmas and I got it but my parents brought it back because it was a total piece of crap.
ReplyDeleteDo you own these? I thought about picking one up.
ReplyDeleteHey Hobgoblin238, I don't own one, but have always longed after them after seeing their comic ads. :)
ReplyDeleteI agree. The comic ads are MUCH more impressive than the actual toy.
