Probably thit is Sienkiewickz best work. Not one of Millers though, the story is very confusing, full of hallucinations, and dialogue influenced by them, Still a great comic.
It's difficult to know where Miller's writing ends and Bill Sienkiewitz's arts starts. I recall picking up this series when I was 15 years and really not grasping a lot of it. I've re-read it a few times and always manage to gleem something different from it each time.
I'm a huge Sienkiewicz fan and I found a copy of this signed and numbered by both Frank and Bill for $15 in a little mom and pop store by my house years ago! Gorgeous art work in this one. Absolutely beautiful!
