Has anyone read any of these? I'd be curious about the quality. Were they intended for children or adults?
ReplyDeleteI had the Dr. Strange volume when I was a kid. Unfortunately, I can't recall anything about it!
ReplyDeleteThe covers to Marvel Superheroes and Avengers are Dave Cockrum, Iron Man and Doctor Strange look to be signed by Bob Layton, Fantastic Four is signed Buscema but I can't tell which one?
ReplyDeleteHey Anonymous, those covers are actually signed by Bob Larkin and the FF cover is John Buscema.
ReplyDeleteI READ THESE NOVELS IN THE EARLY EIGHTIES AND HAVE STILL GOT THEM IN MY COLLECTION. THEY ARE MAINLY YOUNG ADULT NOVELS . I SEEM TO REMEMBER THAT DR STRANGE WAS A MORE ADULT NOVEL. THE FANTASTIC FOUR WAS AIMED AT A YOUNGER READER. IN GENERAL THEY WERE GOOD BOOKS WITH GREAT COVERS.
