From the year of the artwork, this is during a time that the team of Claremont & Byrne was in good synchronicity.
If it weren't for the fact that Byrne was so fast and sharp to produce a new, original illustrated barb, I'd guess that this image (with the "goodbye" wave & the scatological name-misspelling) may have been a later parting gift to Byrne's collaborator.
