1981-83 - Frank Miller and John Romita Jr. combined sketch

Snagged from Romitaman’s art gallery:

“Check out this AMAZING pencil and ink drawing of Spider-Man and Hobgoblin, which were each drawn on 2 separate 11 by 14 inch art boards! Frank Miller fully penciled the Spiderman figure at the San Diego Comic Con in 1981. John Beatty who was inking Mike Zeck on his famous Captain America run (and later on Marvel Secret Wars) did the inks on the Miller pencils in 1982. In 1983 at the Miami Comic Con, John Romita Jr. penciled and inked this Hobgoblin figure at the EXACT same time he drew the VERY FIRST HOBGOBLIN appearance in Amazing Spider-man #238! John Romita Jr. then tied both 11 by 14 inch pieces together by adding the pumpkin bomb that goes into the Miller Spider-man drawing to give the effect of it being 1 big piece.”
