  1. For me Hobgoblin and Scourge rule this list...both intriguing characters who gave great mysteries and subplots to their respective heroes' mags (in Scourge's case, a lot of mags).
    I had forgotten about Belasco but that's a great call, too. And I like Malekith's mention.
    Venom never did a whole lot for me, but he definitely made an impact, so that's a worthy addition as well.
    Now where's Trump from Daredevil 203? (I'm only half-kidding, it was a great issue).
