1986 - Phoenix Rising unpublished pages
Here are the unpublished pages from Fantastic Four #286 written and drawn by John Byrne.
The pages that saw print were altered at the request of Editor-in-Chief Jim Shooter. These alterations were scripted by Chris Claremont and drawn by Jackson Guice.
That is crazy! I seem to recall hearing about how that was altered but never before saw these pages. I don't know how you find this stuff, but keep up the awesome work!
Also: NOW it makes sense why the art in those pages looked so different when I first read it. I don't recall there being separate credit in that issue, so it confused me why those panels were so ... un-Byrne-like.

Why does jean Grey have the same face as Sue Storm when Byrne draws her? Are they related?
