  1. as fate would have it, I was just praising his work over on the bronze Age babies blog before I visited your blog and learned the sad news. I really enjoyed his work.

  2. RIP Mr Infantino, artist of my Star Wars youth. I reread all of my Marvel SW comics last year and fell in love once again with them. I know he didn't get much love for his late 70s style, but he had a certain charm that will always remain with me.

    Thanks for the post, Jason.

  5. I know it's probably considered heresy but I was not a fan of his Star Wars work when I was a kid and even now. This first panel of Luke always bugged me.

  6. Like Matt, I've been sharing my great memories of reading the Flash. Just picked up ish 300 from a dollar bin at the LCS. STILL love the nice clean stylish layouts and speed depictions. Never a muscle-bound hero, he drew the Flash as he should have been, light on his feet.

The Flash never had a better life-long friend.

Sleep well, Mr. Infantino and our humble thanks.
