It looks like the plot was basically the same, just re-written to remove any references to the Olympics. Spider-Man and Hulk had already appeared in a Winter Olympics tie-in, so I guess they weren't planned to appear in the 'Summer' title, anyway.oneillb454@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09871027852560385711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9202849355254208824.post-88239658040942809132013-11-11T21:54:03.086-05:002013-11-11T21:54:03.086-05:00Anybody miss the HUGE mistake in this story. It held up better when I was younger and even say, 10 years ago. I recently read it this year, and the international heroes are just too cliched for my tastes.

I like the cosmic angle w/Death + Grandmaster and was glad it was picked up in the Avengers/West Coast Avengers annuals later on.

Damianhttp://skew.dailyskew.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9202849355254208824.post-76535478876758869902011-04-08T13:23:18.389-04:002011-04-08T13:23:18.389-04:00Hey Patricio, you are correct. The "international heroes" they came up with for it, cheesy as they were, gave it a nice sensation of a real event.Nikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08817525516356141103noreply@blogger.com
